The short version

Night Tree is an Amazon affiliate bridge site. Every product you see on this site links to Amazon. When you click one of our “Buy on Amazon” buttons and complete a purchase, Amazon pays us a small commission — at no extra cost to you. We use these commissions to keep the site running, research new products, and produce the buying guides you’re reading.

Amazon Associates Program Participation

Night Tree is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and affiliated Amazon properties including Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.ca, and other regional Amazon sites.

As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. This is the single most important disclosure on this site, and it appears on every page that recommends a product.

What this means in practice

You pay the same price. Amazon’s prices are identical whether you reach them through our affiliate link or directly. Amazon pays us out of their margin, not out of your wallet.
We don’t sell anything directly. Night Tree has no cart, no checkout, and no customer account pages. We never take your payment, store your card details, or ship products. Every transaction is between you and Amazon, under Amazon’s terms, with Amazon’s return policy and Amazon’s customer service.
We never get a cut of returns. If you return a product, the commission is reversed. That incentive keeps us from recommending things we wouldn’t use ourselves.
We cannot see what you bought. Amazon only reports aggregate sales — not individual customer data. We don’t receive your name, address, email, or order contents.

Our editorial policy

Affiliate revenue is how we pay the bills, but it does not decide what we write. Here’s how we keep the two separate:

Every product we feature is independently selected by our editors based on design, materials, customer reviews, and real-world usability.
We do not accept payment, sponsorship, or free products in exchange for positive coverage. Brands cannot buy their way onto Night Tree.
Commission rates do not influence our picks. Amazon pays different commission rates for different product categories (typically 1–10%), but we choose products based on fit for the reader, not what pays best.
We disclose on every page. Product pages, buying guides, comparison articles, and this page all display the affiliate relationship clearly.
